What a Load of Rubbish! PDF Print E-mail

Last Friday afternoon, Gympie State High students of all year levels volunteered to take part in the nationwide schools Clean Up Australia Day.

It was fantastic to see just how many of the younger students really care about the environment, with many garbage bags being filled by activity end. The school grounds were left sparkling. The event which was hailed as a great success, was orchestrated by the schools Environment Committee and Senior Leaders. Gympie High is a Reef Guardian School and hopes that through its diligence it is protecting the waterways now and for the future.
