The P&C Association
The P&C Association, an essential committee in our school, endeavours to improve school facilities for the benefit of our students as well as providing a window to the operational activities within the school.
The P&C has been instrumental in a number of projects over the years including the upgrade of the tuckshop, the construction of the climbing wall in the Gym and Rita’s Place - an amphitheatre for outdoor entertainment. The Multi-sports Arena on Tozer oval was also gifted by the P & C to recognise the school's centenary. The P&C donated funds towards the Learning Partnerships Programs, Wegner's Cafe. The Cafe provides hands on work skills in a fully functional catering kitchen and surrounds, for students who may not otherwise be able to access these benefits from the mainstream curriculum.
Participation in the P & C is highly recommended to become part of the Gympie High School community.
Parent and community attendance and input at monthly meetings ensures Gympie High will continue to provide your student with excellent educational outcomes.
Meeting times can be found on the bottom of the previous month's minutes.
Volunteers are always needed in the tuckshop, office or library, even for an hour a week; every little bit helps. If you can help, please phone Anette Bambling on (07) 5486 1136 between 9.30 am and 3.00 pm.
