What is eLearning?
Broadly speaking, eLearning is the use of technology to assist with learning. Students at Gympie High have access to a range of eLearning resources and they are listed below.
QLearn
QLearn is a site provided by Education Queensland for all students to use at school and at home. Teachers create online courses and upload reading material, tasks, quizzes and links to other online materials such as online textbooks and videos.
Students are enrolled in online courses based on their timetable. Some year levels haven't yet got courses for all subjects.
If there's no course for one of your child's subjects, contact the Head of Department for that subject and enquire about the timeframe for release of the online course.
If your child is wondering what is coming up next in any of their subjects, a good first place to look is QLearn. If this link doesn't work, copy this address into your browser: (https://qlearn.eq.edu.au)
Clickview
We subscribe to Clickview which gives all students and staff access to a large collection of educational videos on a wide range of topics. Videos are curated and suitable for student access. Read the ClickView parent flyer for more details on how Clickview can help your child with their studies. Teachers will sometimes include links to relevant Clickview videos from within their online courses.
